Jeff Flake In NH Amid Kavanaugh Investigation, 2020 Speculation
Arizona Republican Jeff Flake could mount a primary challenge to President Trump in 2020. Flake will speak at the NH Institute of Politics.

GOFFSTOWN, NH -- U.S. Senator Jeff Flake will travel to New Hampshire Monday amid speculation he could mount a primary challenge to President Trump in 2020. Flake's trip comes days after he requested to delay the confirmation vote of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh pending an FBI investigation. Flake, a Republican from Arizona, is a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Flake will visit the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College in Goffstown Monday. He is scheduled to deliver a speech at 6 p.m. titled, "After the Deluge: A Rejection of Destructive Politics and a Return to Principle." There is "high demand" for the event, the college said. The event is expected to be live-streamed; check back to Patch for live-stream information.
Last week, Flake's scheduled visit for an event in Boston, Massachusetts, was changed due to "safety concerns" over potential protests.
