1. After the stress of the holiday season, why not start off 2023 with Mindful Meditation—a practice that offers techniques for becoming more relaxed, aware and focused. Join certified meditation instructor Marissa McAleer for this new program at the Bedford Town Hall (across from the Bedford Library). Classes start on Monday, Jan. 9. 2. "The Bedford Men's Club tree sale is closed"—because they "sold all of the 511 trees" they received from Weir Tree Farms in Colebrook, New Hampshire! In a neighborhood post, the club thanked its many customers who helped raise funds through the holiday tree sale "for worthy causes in our town" and also thanked club member volunteers for donating their time to "make Bedford an even better place to live." 3. It's not too early to plan for New Year's Eve. The Copper Door announced "a delicious Prix Fixe Menu for New Year’s Eve." Dinner seating starts at 4 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m. (The restaurant closes at 11 p.m. on NYE). Live music will play from 6-9 p.m.! "Reservations are highly recommended!"
