Man Found Deceased In Nutts Pond In South Manchester
Police say they are investigating an untimely death of a man on Tuesday; NH Marine Patrol and firefighters used boats to remove the body.

MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester police responded to Nutts Pond at 9:08 a.m. for a body found in the water near a popular walking trail and fishing spot on Tuesday.
Police called for assistance from Manchester firefighters, New Hampshire Marine Patrol, and the NH Medical Examiners Office. The parking lot to the baseball field, located on the east side of the pond, was closed off to traffic. Bystanders from the west side of the pond watched as responders removed the deceased man from the pond.
Police called the investigation an “untimely death” and confirmed a man was removed from the water. MPD Spokesperson Heather Hamel said police are asking for people to stay away from the area. More information will be released when appropriate, she said.
