Update: Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash On I-293 In Manchester
Adam Young of Manchester was killed when he lost control and struck a guardrail. Laconia Bike Week has brought thousands of bikers to NH.
MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester firefighter, AMR, and New Hampshire State Police responded to a motorcycle accident on Interstate 293 north on Sunday.
AMR Ambulance was the first to arrive at the scene just after 8 p.m. and reported a motorcyclist was in “traumatic arrest.” They reported the crash was at Mile Marker 7, just south of the Amoskeag Bridge exit.
Medics, assisted by three firefighters in the ambulance, rushed the man to Catholic Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Manchester firefighters remained on the highway to assist state police in blocking the right side of the roadway while the accident was investigated.
Initial investigation determined that the motorcycle operator lost control while traveling northbound through the S-curves on I-293 in the area immediately south of Exit 6, according to state police. The motorcycle hit the guardrail on the right side of the roadway before coming to a stop in the breakdown lane

The motorcycle's operator was identified as Adam Young, 42, of Manchester.
Young was thrown from the motorcycle as a result of the crash. He was pronounced dead at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester.
