MANCHESTER, NH — Terry Dow, 52, owner of The Training Station Fitness and Martial Arts Gym in Manchester, has pleaded guilty to two counts of simple assault against a 16-year-old girl. The plea was entered following an incident at his gym in May 2024.

According to court documents, Dow, who was a longtime family friend and mentor figure to the victim, offered her a massage while she was volunteering and cleaning at the gym on the afternoon of May 18, 2024. The victim, whose family had been members of Dow's gym since she was five years old, declined his offer, according to County Attorney John Coughlin.

Despite her refusal, Dow allegedly reached under her shirt and began rubbing her back and shoulders. At the time, no classes were in session, and no other members were present at the gym, with only another instructor in a different area of the building.
