Manchester Man Charged With 3 Robberies
Jonathan Grant, 28, of Manchester, has been charged with three robberies that occurred in Manchester and Goffstown this week.

MANCHESTER, NH — Police have arrested a Manchester man charged with committing three robberies this week. Jonathan Grant, 28, of Manchester, was arrested on Tuesday after being charged on an unrelated drug possession charge, according to Manchester police.
Police say that the latest robbery occurred at the Seven Eleven on Queen City Avenue around 5 a.m. on Tuesday, when the suspect walked into the store with a baseball bat and demanded money. The clerk refused to give him the money and the man ran out empty handed, according to police.
Earlier that morning, the Cumberland Farms on Mast Road in Goffstown was also robbed, after also being robbed the previous day. In the Goffstown robberies, the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

Grant was arrested Tuesday morning in Manchester on an unrelated drug charge, and as the police investigation on the robberies continued, he was identified as the suspect in the three robberies, Manchester police say.
After his arrest, Grant was arraigned on the drug possession charge on Tuesday, and his arraignment for the robbery charges was scheduled for Wednesday at Hillsborough County Superior Court - North.

Grant's arrest is a result of a joint investigation of Manchester and Goffstown police departments.
