Manchester Police Arrest Man Accused Of Injuring Two People In Fight
Charles Dexter, 35, was arrested after police investigated a fight that injured two people near a Manchester homeless shelter.

MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester police arrested Charles Dexter, 35, in connection to an investigation of a fight that left two people injured on Saturday morning.
Fire, Police, and AMR ambulance responded to a report of a fight and injuries at Pine and Manchester Street at 6:45 a.m.
Through the investigation, police learned that a small group of people started to fight just west of that intersection. The fight broke up briefly, and the individuals continued to walk toward the intersection of Manchester St and Chestnut St. There, more people joined the group, and the fight resumed.

During the altercation, someone pulled out a knife and injured two people. Neither injury was life-threatening.
The man with the knife was later identified as Dexter of Manchester (no set address). Dexter was charged with multiple felonies, including two counts of first-degree assault, felon in possession of a deadly weapon, falsifying physical evidence, and riot.

Dexter will be arraigned Tuesday in Hillsborough Superior Court –North.
