Manchester Police Arrest Prosecutor From Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office
Thomas Rogers, 35, was arrested on domestic simple assault and then cops say he returned to the address and was arrested again Thursday.

Manchester, NH — A Manchester man was arrested twice within hours on Thursday morning following two separate incidents at a Laurel Street address.
Thomas Rogers, 35, of Manchester, faces charges including simple assault, domestic violence, breach of bail, and stalking. According to Manchester police, officers first responded to the Laurel Street residence shortly before midnight on Wednesday after receiving a report of an issue. Upon arrival, officers determined that Rogers had allegedly assaulted a woman he knew. He was subsequently arrested and charged with simple assault-domestic violence.
Rogers was booked and released on personal recognizance bail around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, with explicit orders not to return to the victim's address.

However, just three hours later, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Manchester police were called back to the same address after a 911 hang-up call. Although the victim from the earlier incident had reportedly left the home, officers located Rogers at the residence. Due to violating his bail conditions, he was arrested again and charged with breach of bail and stalking-notice of order.
Rogers was then transported to Valley Street Jail, where he is currently being held. Police stated that the case remains active and ongoing.

According to Roger's LinkedIn account, he has been employed by the Hillsborough County Attorney's Office since March 2024.
In a press release sent by Hillsborough County Assistant Attorney Shawn Sweeney, the following statement was given: "We are aware of the recent arrests involving one of our prosecutors in the special victims unit.”
"This is a serious matter, and we take it very seriously. The integrity of our office and the safety of our community are our top priorities. We will allow the legal process to unfold and will cooperate fully with law enforcement. It is crucial that we uphold the principles of justice, irrespective of an individual’s position. We will not comment further on the specifics of the case to protect the integrity of the investigation."
