MANCHESTER, NH — The death of a man found deceased in a third-floor apartment at 434 Union St. on Tuesday is being investigated by the NH Attorney General’s Office and Manchester Police.
Manchester Fire, Police, and AMR responded to a report of an injured man after a 911 call was received for assistance. Once the scene was secure, firefighters and medics entered the apartment and quickly declared the man deceased and said they were evaluating a second patient for non-life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses in the area heard a man yelling from the rear of the building and then saw him enter the building. A man across the hall from where the victim was found said he heard yelling for an extended period of time. After the yelling stopped, he saw blood on the doorway and a man exiting the apartment.

A letter outlining the ongoing issues that are affecting both of them on a daily basis. Assistant Chief Loui thanked them both for coming to the meeting and voicing their concerns and advised that Captain Larochelle in the Community Affairs Division would get in touch with them after the meeting to address their concerns. Captain Murphy added that he was familiar with the area and advised that the Special Enforcement Division has made 3 recent arrests at one of the problem locations mentioned and that he is also aware that the building owner is currently navigating through the eviction process.
On Tuesday afternoon, a large area surrounding 434 Union St. and an adjacent property was cordoned off by crime scene tape, and detectives could be seen entering and exiting the building.
