New Boston Man Arrested Child Sexual Abuse Material Charges

NEW BOSTON, NH – A four-month multi-agency investigation into illicit Internet activity culminated on Thursday with the arrest of a New Boston man on multiple felony charges related to child sexual abuse material.
Gregory Wells, 19, of New Boston, was taken into custody after a search and arrest warrant operation conducted by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Wells faces three felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse material. The operation involved a significant collaborative effort between various law enforcement agencies, including the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office, the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, and Homeland Security Investigations.
Local police departments from New Boston, Goffstown, Bow, Merrimack, and Seabrook also participated in the coordinated action.

Following his arrest, Wells was transported to the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections, where he is being held pending his arraignment. He is scheduled to appear at the Goffstown District Court at 9 a.m. on Friday.
