Bedford in the news:
- View the new video about the Public Safety Building project on South River Road before the March 2024 vote. The video created by the Facilities Information and Communications Committee is narrated by Committee member and longtime resident Sue Mullen. The video highlights the significant growth in the population of Bedford over the past 30 years, the increase in service calls, increased staffing to maintain high-quality police and fire services, and how the Complex on Constitution Drive "no longer meets the demands of 21st century public safety." (Press Release)
- It's time for the Game Club for Adults on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 5:15 p.m.! All adults are welcome to play board games and/or card games twice a month at the Bedford Public Library. A variety of games will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your favorite board or card game to share. No experience is necessary. Registration is required: (The Bedford Public Library)
- Boo! Children ages 0-5 are invited to join in the Halloween party at the Bedford Public Library on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 10-10:45 a.m. The program starts with "not-so-spooky storytime" in the Children's Room. Then everyone can show off their costumes in a parade around the library, ending with sweet treats! Registration is required for this event. Registering more attendees than spaces available will automatically place your attendees on this event's wait list. Sign up here: (The Bedford Public Library)
