1. Former Vice President Pence Visits Bedford Coffee Shop: Former Vice President Mike Pence visited New Hampshire on Wednesday to help Republicans running in the 2022 midterm elections. He met with supporters at the Simply Delicious Coffee Company in Bedford as one of his many stops traveling around the Granite State. He acknowledged that his visit would spark discussion about entering the 2024 Presidential race, but the former Vice President said his focus was to help New Hampshire Republicans in the state. 2. Bedford Santa Dads: The Bedford Santa Dads recently announced the route Santa will be traveling this year with eight scheduled stops in Bedford. On Sunday, Dec. 12 from noon to 4 p.m., Bedford Santa Dads will visit Bedford neighborhoods to hand out over 1,500 candy canes. The idea to have Santa visit children in their neighborhoods started last year when families couldn't go to the mall in-person due to the pandemic. The Bedford Dads said when they came up with the idea, they they "had no idea how popular this would be." Santa's route in Bedford also includes stops at parking lots.
