Rindge Woman Killed In Hit And Run Accident In Manchester; Suspect Arrested

MANCHESTER, N.H. — A Manchester woman has been arrested and charged in a fatal hit-and-run on Second Street that killed a 60-year-old Rindge woman last Wednesday.

The victim, who was hit in the parking lot of a Taco Bell, has been identified as Juliana Harbeck.

Maria Camila Posada Canizales, 27, of Manchester, turned herself in to Manchester Police on Monday and was charged with felony Conduct After an Accident.

The arrest comes after police issued a warrant for her after investigators identified her as the driver who struck the victim. Police say she then fled the scene after the crash and has been looking for her since last week.

The suspect was held pending a court appearance today.
