Second to Last Farmers Market of 2013 is Today

Here are five things you should know today in Bedford.

1. Down on the farm. There are only two weeks left on the 2013 Bedford Farmers' Market season and today's event, which takes place from 3-6 p.m. at Saint Elizabeth Seton Parish, features live tunes from Back 2 the Garden - playing everything from classic rock to country - and much more. 2. Facebook cover winner. Congrats to Dianne Kashiwabara, who submitted the winning photo in our Facebook cover contest. Dianne's photo of her daughter Sofie holding a glowing jack-o-lantern now sits atop our Bedford Patch Facebook page, where it will remain through the end of October. Dianne also won a $25 gift card to the new Famous Footwear in town.

3. The weatherman says ... Showers are likely today with a forecasted high of 69 degrees and a 30-percent chance of rain, according to Weather.com. The overnight low is 46 degrees.
