- A shoutout to the Bedford Fire Department for hosting the annual Fill the Boot Drive to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Target/Lowe’s Plaza. Fill the boot with cash donations for a worthwhile cause! Since 1954, firefighters across the country have been collecting critical funds for the MDA "one dollar at a time." If you don't have cash on hand you, you can donate using a QR code directly from your phone. Any amount will help! Thank you, BFD, and thank you Bedford for your continued support.
