Boston Artisan Breads will distribute the award-winning pastries to eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire, and Maine.

BEDFORD, NH — The unique flavors and hand-crafted goodness of Slightly Crooked Pies, Bedford’s award-winning homestead business, will soon be found throughout the region as the bakery begins wholesale operations.
Slightly Crooked Pies products are now available through Boston Artisan Breads, a distributor of fresh-baked goods to bakery and retail locations in eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire, and the coast of Maine. Wholesale pies, available in 9-inch, 5-inch, and handheld varieties, are now produced at Creative Chef Kitchens in Derry.
“Like nonna’s gravy or yia yia’s baklava, pie is more than food —i t’s a tradition that connects generations and brings people comfort,” Lauren Cline, the company founder, said. “It’s a privilege to bring a little bit of happiness into people’s celebrations, whether a large family gathering or a quick break in the middle of the day.”

Slightly Crooked Pies evolved in Cline’s 18th-century kitchen, where the oven sits on a sloped floor, and baked goods tend to come out a little lopsided. Since first being offered at the Joppa Hill Educational Farm’s farm stand in 2021, Slightly Crooked Pies creations have been recognized with multiple awards at the Great NH Pie Festival and were voted among WMUR’s Viewers Choice for best pie in 2022, 2023, and 2024. The business was also featured in a 2022 New Hampshire Chronicle segment.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the support of my family, colleagues, and most of all my customers in growing this hobby into a dream. Pie people are great people,” she said.
