Stephanie Beard, 34, was arrested by Boston police on a murder charge. She was accused of stabbing John Glennon, 71, of Manchester.

MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester detectives on Sunday continue to process the scene of a killing at the Carpenter Center on Franklin Street. Several detectives and the crime scene van remain parked outside the 96-unit building as many residents sit outside watching and discussing the fatality.

John Glennon, 71, was killed on Friday and according to newly released autopsy results, died from “multiple sharp force injuries and the manner of death was a homicide.”

Manchester police issued a warrant for Stephanie Beard, 34, charging her with second-degree murder for causing the death of Glennon. Police, in an earlier release, said Beard stabbed the victim in the head with a knife, and then stole Glennon’s car. Police had issued surveillance photos of Beard, a previous booking photo, and photos of Glennon’s silver Subaru Impreza.
