The Inside Scoop is Looking for Help!

1. HELP. She needs somebody, HELP, not just anybody ...  The Inside Scoop is looking for fall help and is looking to begin training now. Recently, owner Hillary Rankins posted the following on her Facebook page: Do you or someone you know need a job? We are looking for our next shining star here at The Scoop. As many of you know, and have expressed to me many times - my staff is the BEST! They're super friendly, energetic, hard working people who want the best for The Scoop and will go out of their way to make it happen. If you feel that you could be a great addition to our team, please stop by the store and fill out an application as this spot won't last long. This is for FALL help which will begin training ASAP. Open availability is required, including nights and weekends.

2. Speaking of jobs ... If you're in need of a new career, or even if you'd simply like to see what else is out there, you can do so quickly, easily and locally through our "Jobs" tab above where you'll find dozens of job listings in Bedford alone, and hundreds more in surrounding communities.

3. Weekend weather. Showers are possible today as temperatures hover in the low 70s with a 30-percent chance of precipitation. Saturday's forecast, however, calls for the high to jump to 87 degrees, with partly cloudy skies and a 20-percent chance of rain before dipping to the low 80s Sunday with a 40-percent chance of scattered thunderstorms. Get the full five day forecast at Weather.com.

5. On the agenda. There are no municipal or school district meetings scheduled today in Bedford but a Water & Sewer Committee Meeting is scheduled for 7:45 a.m. Monday and the CIP Committee gathers later that day at 3 p.m.
