Town Council to Elect Chair, Vice Chair Tonight
Newly elected town councilor Kelleigh Murphy will also take oath at tonight's organizational meeting.
Last year, Bill Dermody and Chris Bandazian were re-elected chairman and vice chairman of the Bedford Town Council during the annual post-election organization meeting.
Bill Jean and Mac McMahan also joined the council, taking their oathes and stepping into seats vacated by Paul Roy and Jason Carrier.
Well, as tough as it may be for some to believe, it's been a year since, and tonight represents another annual organizational meeting.

That means a vote on council chair and vice chair. It also means Kelleigh Murphy will be sworn in as the council's newest member. She replaces Ken Peterson, who served two years as an appointed councilor and the last as an elected official.
The meeting takes place at 7 p.m. at the BCTV Bedford Town Meeting Room. Board and commission assignments will also be decided for each of Bedford's seven councilors.
