- With people buying sending more packages this year over the holiday season, Chief John J. Bryfonski of the Bedford Police Department shared tips from the National Neighborhood Watch to help prevent package theft:
- Set up notifications to track your packages
- Install a security camera in the area(s) outside your home where packages may be delivered
- Require a signature upon delivery to ensure packages are never left unattended
- Reschedule delivery or ask for a package hold when on vacation
- Research potential home security technology and locking device options to protect and monitor packages
- Sign up for the USPS “Informed Delivery” service, where you can get a daily email with a picture/scan of the mail you will receive that day.

- Omicron is threatening to disrupt winter travel to the Caribbean. After tourism rebounded from the pandemic, travel advisors are saying the market is in flux with the omicron surge. "Has omicron affected holiday and winter season bookings?" Travel Weekly writer Gay Nagle Myers asked the Travel Advisors Selling the Caribbean Facebook group. Jennifer Pickering, owner of Seahorse Travel in Bedford, N.H. shared her thoughts on Caribbean tourism and the unexpected challenges with a new pandemic hurdle. - Can you help identify this thief? Manchester Police Detective James Pitman is asking for assistance identifying a man that picked up a debit card left at at Triangle Credit Union in Manchester. Early in December, a person accidentally left their debit card at the Triangle Credit Union ATM on Elm Street, when police said another customer picked up the debit card and placed it on the outside window of the bank. Then, the wind blew the credit card into the parking lot where another person picked it up and used it at several locations to make purchases.
