  1. Residents of Merrimack voiced concerns about noise, traffic and safety at the NHDOT meeting updating the public about the Everett Turnpike project. The ongoing project is to widen a two-mile section of the Everett Turnpike from Nashua to Bedford, ending one mile south of the toll plaza to ease traffic and congestion. Officials said the project is expected to be completed by spring 2025. (wmur.com)
  2. The 9th annual Wholistic Fall Fest Pet Expo will be held this Saturday. Oct. 7, rain or shine, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.! Pets are welcome at this event for the whole family. The Expo will have vendors, a professional photographer and animals looking for families to adopt them—as well as storewide sales, raffles, giveaways, and the always popular animal costume contest at noon!
