What's the Worst Part About Back to School in Bedford?

We've reached that part of the summer when parents switch from being happy to have the kids home to enjoy the vacation together to being anxious to get them out of the house.

The readers on the Bedford Patch Facebook page told us what they dread most about going back to school. Here's what they had to say:

• Denise Bowridge: For me it's being home without them. That's the worst for me. See. I enjoy teaching .. being with my children. And sometimes it's scary watch your kids going back to school after you've taught them and to try to teach them the best method possible in their life discoveries I look at their life like a pie cut up into four pieces a quarter is from the home they live in another quarter is from their friends that they hang with the other quarter is from the schools that we allow them to go and the last quarter of the pie is what they think of the other three quarters that comes into their life discoveries I hope I have taught them well enough to know to make a full pie in a get older and to make the right choices and to do the right thing because sometimes the right thing isn't always popular but the popular thing is it always the right choice either.
