  1. Can you help Bedford police identify these thieves? A woman's purse was stolen from Whole Foods Market in Bedford on Friday, Dec. 10. The Bedford Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying the suspects involved in the theft. The woman's credit cards were later used at The Mall of New Hampshire in Manchester. The mother of a pilot killed in a Bedford, New Hampshire plane crash remembered him as a "remarkable young man" and said he died a "hero" for avoiding homes and businesses as he piloted his troubled plane toward the airport. Emmanuel “Manny” Vomvolakis, 23, was killed when his Swearingen SA-226 twin-turboprop plane had engine trouble and crashed near the Merrimack River as it approached the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport just after 11:30 p.m., police said in a statement Saturday. Vomvolakis’s mother, Cindy Frohriep, wrote on Facebook, “There was no greater joy in my life than being his mom." You can read more here: (The Boston Globe)
