Will Seth Meyers Replace Jimmy Fallon on the Late Night Show?

Bedford native could be in line for coveted gig should Fallon replace Jay Leno on the Tonight Show.

If Jimmy Fallon is, indeed, the choice to fill Jay Leno's chair on The Tonight Show, as has been rumored, the move may create a domino effect that lands Bedford native Seth Meyers the gig as host of Fallon's Late Night Show.

According to an EnStarz report, Meyers, who has been the Weekend Update host and head writer at Saturday Night Live for the last 12 years, is coveted by NBC producer Lorne Michaels.

Last year, Meyers performed a stand-up routine at Bedford High School in support of Bedford Education Association and in tribute to the career of his mother, a retiring Bedford school teacher.
