Concord Mom Get's Special Shoutout: 'She's One Of A Kind'

CONCORD, NH— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

This submission comes from Chris Davis who nominated Heidi Davis of Concord.

What makes your Mom extra special?

Not my mother, as I don't have one, but I owe this queen of mine so much appreciation ... This mother picks up more slack than most. She's always hungry for more knowledge, [and] she shines at her full-time job of many years now. She has put herself to the side for her family when we needed her. She has continued her schooling on top of everything to better herself. Heidi gets a minute in her day, she checks on her family. She cooks meals, cleans and does her very best to give her family the little extras in life ...

If I had a mom, Heidi would be my dream mom. [She's] very supportive of all her children ... You are absolutely perfect in every way. I could go on forever about Heidi, but I'll leave it short and sweet. We love you, Heidi Davis. Happy Mother's Day to you and the rest of the mothers out there.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
