Concord Mom Showers Family With 'Love & Kindness': Meet Doris LaClair!

CONCORD, NH— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

My mother raised eight children while working a full time job at night. She always put the family first and her second. The love and kindness she gives to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren is amazing! She is not only my mother but also my best friend. I can only wish everyone is as lucky like me and my family are to have such a wonderful Mother!

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

She is 86 years old, and I try to make her feel as special as possible. I believe this would be a great way to do that.
