Concord Mom's Kindness, Compassion Prove 'Good People Still Exist'

CONCORD, NH— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

My mom has been working in the mental health field for the past 20+ years and has helped make a difference in many lives. She has worked hard to take care of her family. She is always going above and beyond to help those in need. Her kindness and compassion show the world good people still exist. She is an amazing mother and grandmother to two beautiful granddaughters. She works hard every day.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

Because working in the mental health field, it is very stigmatized area, and she makes a big difference in the lives of those around her and fights for the rights of patients. She has always worked hard for everyone and everything in her life. She deserves to see how much she is appreciated and cared about.
