Freezing Rain, Black Ice Expected Overnight

A Freezing Rain Advisory is in effect from tonight through Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Patchy freezing rain and drizzle will begin to develop after midnight and move from south to north through Maine and New Hampshire. Light to moderate freezing rain will continue through the early morning hours. Ice accumulations of up to two-tenths of an inch possible, which could create very slippery driving conditions on untreated roads.

Salem, Windham, Londonderry, Exeter, Portsmouth, Hampton and Concord are all included in the advisory. A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties.
