The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The economy is the most pressing issue. The government (mostly federal) sees a problem and thinks the best way to solve it is to throw money at it. This leads to high inflation and misallocation of resources. I support the New Hampshire Advantage of no sales or income tax, no new taxes, and to limit government spending to what we can afford. Don't spend money you don't have.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

Many candidates believes that big government is the answer to all problems; I believe government has created most of the problems. I believe the money a person earns belongs to him or her; NOT to the government. People should be free to make their own educational choices for their children, their own medical choices, and their own financial decisions. The proper “minimum wage” is zero; the worker’s skills and the value he or she brings to the employer should determine the level of compensation. Rent control holds down the availability of housing.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform:

I am a strong supporter of our natural rights; especially those under the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Amendments. The Bill of Rights does not grant rights to citizens; it prevents the government from limiting the rights of citizens. I intend to empower individuals; not big government.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this position?

While working at Northeast Delta Dental I sat on a number of non-profit Boards. I learned the difficulty of raising money, the importance of establishing a budget, and the discipline of living within that budget.

The best advice ever shared with me was…

Be nice to everyone, not just the people you think can help you.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

Republicans are not the answer to all your problems. But Democrats are the cause of all your problems!
