New Hampshire Supporters Of Law Enforcement Rally In Concord
A rally of about 100 was held in front of the Statehouse Saturday showing support for law enforcement in the Granite State.
CONCORD, NH — Outside the New Hampshire Statehouse Saturday, about a 100 people gathered to show their support for law enforcement in what one speaker described as a unique time in history.
Londonderry Police Lt. Mark Morrison, on behalf of the New Hampshire Police Association, spoke to the crowd about the challenges officers face every day, and being required to make split second decisions. He also acknowledged the disgust officers had with the death of George Floyd, a Black man from Minneapolis, who died in May after a white officer held a knee to his neck for more than 8 minutes.
A group of citizens took to the microphone speaking in support of law enforcement. A mix of current politicians and some who were running also spoke in support of law enforcement.
