EXETER, NH — The all-volunteer Exeter Holiday Parade Committee announced three fundraising events prior to the 2025 Exeter Holiday Parade on Saturday, Dec. 6.
First in line is a fundraiser at the Thirsty Moose Taphouse on Portsmouth Avenue in Exeter.
Between the hours of 4 and 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19, the Thirsty Moose will donate 10 percent of their sales to the Exeter Holiday Parade. Volunteers from the parade committee will be on hand with several of the parade’s holiday inflatables in the Taphouse outside dining area.

Vendor space has completely sold out again, so patrons can expect two floors of terrific craft items from local crafters and artisans. The Craft Fair coincides with Small Business Saturday, so it’s a great day to be holiday shopping in downtown Exeter. All Craft Fair vendors pay a fee to participate. Those fees help fund the 2025 Exeter Holiday Parade and allow the craft fair to offer free public admission.
More than 35 vendors will be on hand and there is an elevator in the building.
The next fundraiser for the Exeter Holiday Parade will be the week of the parade on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at Otto Pizza on Water Street in Exeter. They will donate 10 percent of their daily sales to the parade. Otto is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Several parade volunteers will be there, as well as some of the parade’s holiday inflatables.
The Exeter Holiday Parade Inflatables return during the Exeter Holiday Block Party on Thursday, Dec. 4, on the Town House Common Park on Court Street.
Kids and kids at heart can stroll through the Festival of Trees, visit with Santa, and then check out the holiday inflatables at Town House Common.
The Exeter Holiday Parade is always the first Saturday in December and always at night. The theme for the 2025 Exeter Holiday Parade is “A Whimsical Winter Stroll” and will step off at 5:30 p.m. from Osram on Portsmouth Avenue and will wind down Portsmouth Avenue to Water Street and past the Bandstand.
The parade features a “Quieter Zone” for anyone with a sensitivity to loud noises. From the parade starting point up to New England Pizza and ProvBank, fire trucks and vehicles towing floats will be asked to not use their air horns. The location also offers plenty of parking spaces at the Exeter Commons parking lot. Fans of the annual Holiday Parade are invited to join the more than 2500 followers of the Exeter Holiday Parade Facebook page for the latest information about this year’s event.
The Exeter Holiday Parade is a more than 60-year tradition and anyone interested in sponsorship, donations or volunteering can reach out to the committee at exeterholidayparade@gmail.com. Businesses, non-profits and community groups interested in being part of the 2025 parade are also encouraged to contact the committee at that same email address.
