Exeter Man Arrested On Child Sexual Abuse Images Charges
Ricardo Tejada faces 10 counts of distributing and possessing child sexual abuse images after an extensive investigation by police.

EXETER, NH — A man from Exeter was arrested on Monday on 10 counts of possessing and distributing child sexual abuse images.
Ricardo Tejada, 30, was arrested after what Exeter Police Chief Stephan Poulin called an “extensive investigation” by police and members of the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. He faces five counts each of possession and distribution, all felonies. Tejada was held in the Rockingham County Jail after the arrest and was expected to be arraigned in superior court on Tuesday.
“His arrest was the culmination of a lengthy multi-jurisdictional investigation which ultimately led authorities to Exeter,” Poulin said. “Since that time, members of the Exeter Police Department’s Criminal Investigative Division have diligently worked the case.”

The task force was brought in by police in November. A search warrant was issued at Tejada’s home, and “numerous items of evidence were collected,” he added.
“The investigation remains active,” Poulin said.
