Firefighters From Across NH Battle Oil Tankers On Fire In Epping
Fire apparatus from Manchester Boston Regional Airport assisted with foam to help suppress the fire on Depot Rd at North Atlantic Services
EPPING, NH - Multiple tanker trucks containing oil caught fire Saturday at North Atlantic Services on Depot Road at about 4:30 p.m., when crews arrived they were engulfed in fire.
Over a dozen fire departments from the seacoast, and southern New Hampshire responded to the scene to assist in establishing a water supply and battling the blaze.
The fire apparatus from Manchester Boston Regional Airport responded to provide additional resources including high volumes of foam.

After the truck from the airport applied large volumes of foam, the fire was knocked down about 2 hours after the initial call.
Ramps from Route 101 were closed down to vehicles other than fire apparatus that were staged on the overpass.

The fire hit 5-alarms with multiple additional resources from police and environmental services.
The NH Fire Marshal’s Office is at the scene and will assist in the investigation.
