Motor Home Goes Up In Flames On Exeter Highway

Photos shared by the Exeter Fire Department show the 1986 Chevrolet G30 Winnebago on fire in the breakdown lane just west of Exit 12​.

EXETER, NH — A motor home became fully engulfed in flames on Route 101 in Exeter Sunday, the Exeter Fire Department said in a news release Monday.

Photos and video shared by the department on Facebook show crews fighting flames pouring out of the 1986 Chevrolet G30 Winnebago as it is parked in the breakdown lane just west of Exit 12.

The fire was put out quickly and the driver was able to escape safely, officials said. The motor home was towed.

The cause of the fire has not been determined but officials said they believe the fire originated in the rear driver's side.
