NH Author And Jeopardy! Winner Facing Child Porn Charges

A former newspaper reporter, Brendan DuBois authored 29 mystery-suspense novels, including two co-authored with James Patterson.

EXETER, NH — A 64-year-old Exeter novelist who won Jeopardy! in 2012 is facing charges of possessing child pornography, the Exeter Police Department said Wednesday.

Brendan DuBois, a lifelong New Hampshire resident, was arrested on Wednesday, four months after the Exeter Police Department and Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce opened a child sexual abuse materials investigation in town.

He is being charged with six felony class A complaints of possession of child pornography and is scheduled to be arraigned in Brentwood Thursday.
