• NH Senate Republicans Release 2026 Agenda, Diss 'Idiotic' Democrat Claims Of Local Revenue Cuts (patch.com) — Statehouse debates over taxes, school funding, and housing policy now directly involve Exeter’s own Rep. Alexis Simpson, who is among Democrats criticizing GOP budget choices. Republican senators tout rising state aid to towns and propose tighter limits on tax hikes, while Democrats argue these policies still shift costs onto local property taxpayers and strain families statewide.
