Police Searching for Local Bank Robber
A thin, short white man is accused of robbing a Hampton bank.
Hampton police released surveillance photos Monday morning of the suspect wanted in connection to Saturday's robbery at TD Bank.
No weapon was shown during robbery, which came less than one week after the same TD Bank was robbed on April 14 at about the same time of the afternoon — 2:50 p.m., according to police.
The lone suspect handed a teller a note and fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, running into the municipal parking lot across the street and out an alley leading out to Route 1.
