There will be an artist reception on Friday, May 12th, 5-7PM with refreshments and entertainment provided by Exeter violinist Dacha Thurber. A graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, Dacha Thurber now attends Harvard University where he serves as Harvard College Opera Full Season Recital Coordinator and Orchestra Liaison. “I am thrilled to join the Seacoast Artist Association in May! The program will include Bach's beautiful D-minor Partita, Paganini’s 17th Caprice, and other exciting selections to celebrate the spring and the wonderful artists exhibiting with the gallery. I eagerly look forward to seeing you soon at Town Hall!”
Another highlight of this show will be the auction of two 28x28 canvas giclee prints of her classic poppy monotypes by well-known Exeter artist Annick Bouvron-Gromek. Annick recently retired from creating these gorgeous monotypes and is closing her studio this month. You will have the chance to bid on these and then head to the SAA gallery to see her May Body of Work Show “Time to Smell the Flowers.” More info at seacoastartist.org This may be the last chance to purchase one of these unique pieces!
