Shot Cop's Family: 'Pray for Richard'
Richard "Dic" Donohue, who has ties to Exeter, was critically injured in a gunfight with the Boston Marathon bombing suspects.

A police officer with Exeter ties is recovering in a Boston hospital after he was shot in a gunfight with the Boston Marathon bombing suspects.
Richard "Dic" H. Donohue Jr., 33, was shot early Friday morning in Watertown, authorities said. He was critically injured.
Donohue made it through surgery and is recovering, according to CBS News.

Donohue is police officer with the Massachusetts Bay Tranportation Authority. His wife, Kim, is from Exeter and graduated from Exeter High School in 2000. They live in Woburn with their young son.
His family released the following statement Saturday:
