"Yuletide at Exeter" book now available at Water Street Bookstore
Cozy-caper set in Exeter, NH

“Yuletide at Exeter” is the final book in the historical-fiction mystery series penned by local author RM Allen. All four books bring back to life actual people from Exeter’s past, both Black and white, that lived during and contributed to exciting America eras - from the Revolutionary War to Women’s Suffrage.
The newest book is set during the Festival of Trees weekend, and introduces you to George and Harriet Harris, a Black merchant couple who were in the top percent of Exeter’s wealth in the late 1800s.
RM Allen donates all her book profits to local Black heritage projects in Exeter. She, and a team of community members, hope to create a small Black heritage pocket-park in Exeter, in partnership with the Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire.
