About 300 customers in the Hampton Beach area lost power Monday morning after a bird made contact with power lines.

HAMPTON, NH — About 300 customers in the Hampton Beach area lost power Monday morning after a bird made contact with power lines on Tilton Street, according to Unitil. The utility company announced that crews were on their way to fix the power outage around 11:40 a.m. All power was restored to the area by 3:23 p.m. Monday, Unitil officials said.
