DWI, Assault, Burglary Charges For Hampton Man

Hampton police said Joshua Sweetapple was charged with a host of crimes in connection with a burglary on Ocean Boulevard.

HAMPTON, NH -- A Hampton man was recently arrested and charged with a host of crimes in connection with a burglary and assault at an Ocean Boulevard apartment, according to police. Joshua Sweetapple, 40, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, assault, burglary and criminal threatening. He was released on bond pending an arraignment.

Police said on October 17, Sweetapple entered the apartment, assaulted a victim by pushing the individual, then drove away intoxicated in a vehicle.

"Mr. Sweetapple was located at the scene and police received conflicting reports," Hampton police said in a statement.

Sweetapple will be arraigned Friday in Rockingham District Court.
