Why are you seeking elective office?
I am currently running for a 2 year seat on the North Hampton School Board as I strongly believe our students, teachers and paraprofessionals need representation when making decisions about the best way to navigate the educational climate over the next couple of years.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The single most pressing issue facing our School Board is ensuring the school receives the funding and resources it needs so that our teachers/paraprofessionals can continue to provide an excellent educational experience. I plan to communicate with the school to better understand the needs of our students, teachers, and facilities so that our budget accurately reflects the needs of our entire school community.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
As a former North Hampton School graduate, and a mother to three kids who currently attend North Hampton School, I feel that I have unique insights to the needs of our students and teachers.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
- Strong advocate for students educational and emotional needs.
- Support evidence based educational and social policies.
- Strong supporter of a curriculum that includes the arts, foreign language, music, technology and extra curricular activities.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
As a nurse, my primary role is to support patients by listening to their needs and acting as their advocate. Although this experience is primarily in the medical field, I'm confident the ability to listen and advocate will help support and represent students, teachers, and concerned community members.
