Why are you seeking elective office?

I am running for municipal office as a way to offer my community my expertise in ensuring fiscal discipline among the town select board, school board, planning board and library trustees. I understand the importance and power of creating realistic achievable budgets and I want to participate in this effort and make the process more transparent for the taxpayers so they can easily participate. North Hampton needs to make smart investments in our municipal infrastructure as well, including the replacement of our outdated fire and police stations. I want to see North Hampton thrive

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The proposed new municipal safety center- If the bond is approved, ensure the execution process is transparent and easy for taxpayers to understand

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

Breadth of experience in complex financial matters.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

We are all volunteers. My campaign is not about criticizing. It is about offering my experience to a municipal board that has an open seat.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I have helped build and manage an international company with over 200 employees in a volatile part of the world under extremely challenging conditions, I have enabled public and private companies raise money in the capital markets to fund their operations and growth and advised them on mergers and acquisitions. I have successfully managed budgets for my company, corporate banking clients and smaller equity backed private companies. I am uniquely qualified to inject real fiscal discipline into the town budget for the benefit of all taxpayers.

The best advice ever shared with me was:

If you don't like the way things are being done, then stop complaining and get involved to change them.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I ask for your vote on March 8
