Maritime Folk Festival Returns to Seacoast
A big annual North Hampton event, "Whimsy," the 137th annual Deerfield Fair and more are also on tap this weekend.

Looking for something fun to do on the Seacoast this weekend? Here are some ideas:
1. Maritime Folk Festival Returns: The 14th annual Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival will be held downtown on Saturday and Sunday and will feature several Seacoast area musicians who will perform traditional sea shanties and ballads in several venues.
2. Don't Miss "Whimsy": This is the final weekend to catch the Seacoast Repertory Theatre's musical, "Whimsy," that features 50 child actors and more than 40 songs.
3. Let's Go to the Deerfield Fair: The 137th annual Deerfield Fair, one of the oldest agricultural fairs in New England, makes its return to the Seacoast region this weekend with a wide assortment of animals, rides and shows that are fun for the whole family.
4. Annual Charity Event Returns: Help local eighth graders make it to Washington, D.C., while scoring some unique items and great finds on Saturday as part of the annual Huge Community Yard Sale at North Hampton School.
The rain-or-shine event is from 8 a.m. to noon. Over 50 families will offer a variety of items, the profits for which will benefit NHS eighth graders' trip to D.C.
5. See a Concert: Three Days Grace with Otherwise will rock the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom on Friday night.
