Sen. Nancy Stiles Files for Re-Election

Stiles has a campaign launch party June 10 at the Old Salt in Hampton.

State Sen. Nancy Stiles, R-Hampton, filed papers with the Secretary of State's office June 4 and will kick off her re-election campaign with an event June 10 in Hampton.

Her kick-off ceremony will take place at The Old Salt in the Goody Cole Room at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday.

"I am committed to working in a bipartisan fashion, bringing together people on both sides of the aisle to tackle the issues facing our state," Stiles said in a campaign announcement. "I’ve enjoyed being state senator and want to continue working to give more back to the district."

Stiles faces a Republican primary challenger in Steve Kenda of North Hampton.

The state filing period opened June 4 and runs through June 13. The state primary is Sept. 9.

Senate District 24 represents Greenland, Hampton, Hampton Falls, Kensington, New Castle, North Hampton, Newton, Rye, Seabrook, Stratham and South Hampton.
