North Hampton officials will hold a variety of "neighborhood talks" about the biggest item on this March's town warrant starting with a 7 p.m. session at Throwback Brewery on Thursday.
The meetings are part of a large-scale effort to involve residents in intimate discussions about the $6.1 million municipal complex project, which thus far has generated a lot of questions and misconceptions throughout the process.
Town Administrator Paul Apple said there is "ample opportunity" to ask questions and offer feedback on the project, and he said he hopes residents will participate in the talks in order to gain more knowledge about the proposal and resolve any uncertainties about what it entails.
The meeting at Throwback Brewery is the first of five meetings, all of which come on the heels of a series of neighborhood-specific sessions held last fall. The upcoming discussions are as follows:
- Jan. 9: 7 p.m. at Throwback Brewery
- Jan. 16: 7 p.m. at North Hampton Public Library
- Jan. 23: 7 p.m. at Throwback Brewery
- Jan. 29: 7 p.m. at Centennial Hall
- Jan. 30: 7 p.m. at United Church of Christ
