What's Closed for Veterans Day in Hampton, N. Hampton?

Monday, Nov. 11, is Veterans Day and there will be a number of places in Hampton and North Hampton that will be closed and open, and there are several Veterans Day remembrances planned.
Here's a quick rundown:
1. Town offices, schools and post offices will be closed.
2. Veterans Day will be honored during American Legion Post 35's annual remembrances at Hampton Beach and in Hampton Falls, North Hampton and Hampton.

The following is the schedule of where those events will occur Monday:
- 8 a.m.: Lady By The Sea Marine Memorial, Hampton Beach
- 9 a.m.: Weare Park, Hampton Falls
- 10 a.m.: North Hampton Public Library, North Hampton
- 11 a.m.: American Legion Post 35 Hall at 69 High Street in Hampton

3. Hampton trash and recycling service will not occur on Monday. According to public works officials, rubbish and recycling routes for Monday through Thursday will be delayed one day, There will be no change in the Friday routes. The Hampton Transfer Station will be open on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
4. Lane Memorial Library will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will have multiple Veterans Day movies on Monday. North Hampton Public Library will be closed.
5. Area restaurants and stores will be open. Most banks will be closed.
