- The middle of September is here, and many of New Hampshire’s favorite events are happening this weekend. The Manchester Citywide Arts Festival week-long arts week culminates with a Street Fair on Hanover St. on Sept. 18. See the schedule here. The Glendi Greek food festival is also happening in Manchester this weekend for its 43rd Anniversary. Click here for more information. Comic fans, Granite State ComicCon will be at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Manchester this weekend. - Calling all language students! Nov. 16 is N.H. World Language Day. For months, a group of New Hampshire university professors and teachers have been planning World Language Day; a day when students can discover the many opportunities available to them in New Hampshire "as learners of other languages.” Students who are interested in languages are encouraged to attend Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Plymouth State University, the University of New Hampshire at Durham, and the University of New Hampshire at Manchester. - Is Bed Bath and Beyond closing? The popular home goods and household retailer announced that they will be closing 56 "lower producing locations," including stores in New Hampshire and Maine. But the Bed Bath and Beyond store in Bedford was not on the list! Other stores that will stay open include Portsmouth and Nashua. (Seacoast Current)
