- Crystal Lake beach was closed yesterday after the Manchester Health Department found high bacteria levels, local officials announced. High E.coli levels were found in water samples taken on Monday, July 11, forcing the Health Department to close the beach to swimmers. The Health Department will take samples again on Tuesday, July 12, with the results available to the public on Wednesday. (Manchester Ink Link)
- New Learning Centers for students enrolled in online learning programs are opening in Manchester and Dover. KaiPod Learning, a startup that launched last year in Newton, Massachusetts, provides "in-person spaces" for students to work on academics, receive tutoring, and be around other students during the school day. CEO and founder Amar Kumar said the Learning Centers are for students in grades 3-12 who are enrolled in online learning programs. The Learning Centers will also have activities, like art and yoga.
